hi, im hoping to get some advice on how much i should charge for making up a site for this dude.

this guy knows nothing on how to even start to have a website online.
well basically he didnt know what a domain was.

so far i have shown him where to find a domain and pay for it.
    i got him a server.
i changed name servers for him.
i uploaded Interspire Shopping Cart software, uploaded a template and did logo etc. config the software admin to his needs and uploading shop pics he will be selling. did the about us, privacy pages etc.
all i have to do now is set him up with google adwords and im pretty much done. but even after that i'll be updating his shop when needed.
all this didnt take to long, just a few hours of the last few days.

i was going to ask for $350, you think im over pricing?
    thanks for any advice guys.

would need to see your work first. If the quality sucks vs. high quality - that is what effects price.

if 350$ incleaded at least 100$ to spent on adwords. i think it would be fair. nut if charge adwords extraly it think it's a bit too high. just my thought. it also about how long you registed the domain for him and ow much you pay for server for him.

If you do great work you might even want to consider charging $500+ or more :)

LOL. There is only one answer to your question, as would be the answer to any similar question.
You should charge him the highest amount that you presume he will be willing to pay. That can be 100$, or 1000$. The quality of your work and what you did doesnt matter at all. Business is Business.

thanks guys, my job was to set up a company shop website, and thats what i have done.
its just other little things like checking out his compation and putting in the right search words, meta words etc.
uploading the e-shopping cart. also setting up the hole site from admin cp. getting ideas from other top sites, then on friday i'll be updating his software as theres a new on out. like when a company wants a website set up and my work is done, you would think they would be willing to pay at least $350. im only charging them for my time. i just did everything that was needed to build his company website, domain, server, software and time. please note i never payed for any of this, its just my time i put in. i'll add a screen shot as its a 18+ site.
