    Dear fellow rebels and senoritas!

Greeeeeetings! Okay I will keep this very simple (or at least I will try to! lol) :D

I have my site at Nokia Symbian Themes where I display my portfolio of symbian themes exclusively designed and developed by me. I am not a "MoneySucker" in my mind and really am confused how much to charge if I put up four ads of 125x125 pixels each in the top most part of each sidebar (2 ads per sidebar). The ads will be site wide and there will one 180x180 adsense text ad at the very bottom of one sidebar if it makes any difference. There will be no more ads except those four and the so called mini adsense ad at the bottom. There are no link or blogroll in my site in the sidebar. Right now I have 656 RSS feed readers and its growing every 3 days or so.

Talking in average terms of everything I usually get at least 2500 unique visits with 10,000 page views everyday (at least 77,500 unique visits/month and its only growing God bless lol).

However, for the last 30 days these are my stats:

    Page views : 322,195
    Unique Visitors: 83,835
    New Visitors: 64,008

My site is heavily focused towards the cell phone industry.

My home page rank is 3 right now, however most of my inner pages (including tags ) are PR 4 and with alexa my ranking is 116,296. I have only been blogging since January 2008 and have never been downgraded in terms of traffic and ranking yet (God bless again lol!).

One last thing is that my designs are absolutely unique and no where else to be found except in my site!

I hope I have given every bit of detail, so please oh wise ones... How much should I charge to my direct advertisers monthly for each block of 125x125 Ads??

    Your help is really appreciated!!!

woah...started in nov07...2500 uniques.wow..howd u do it???!!please it'll be great if u cud leave some trafic tips..wat u did to get thse visitors :D...anywy when it comes to price id say..based on my site's ctr and lowering it a bit based on de fact that it is 125*125 mayb 500$ or mayb even more just visit othr blogs and estimarte their traffic based on rss readers n alexa and check their 'advertise' page for the cost for 1 month . u might also want to sign up for adtoll and mayb handl your advertising atleast 2 out of the 4 ads...as it gives u a larger advertising exposure though they do take 25%. :D:

    Adtoll

Lol... I started in Nov 07 but I never made a post until Jan 18th or 17th I think. Hmmm thanks a lot... $500 dollars for each ad? They will pay me this much?? You serious? lol...

I am a madhatter! lol... And my only traffic tip is, if you are using wordpress, you must use the simple tags plugin and skip doing/placing keywords in the site. I have a motto, I never use keywords in my site. Beside the "musts" like setting image alternate texts and title tags the only thing I do differently is that I dont use keywords at all. I believe that google can assess my content enough to take the keywords most suited to my site according to the original content and when I use keywords, I am telling google that "hey use my specified words" (which sometimes might not be what google might think about about your optimum phrases/words suited to your site according to their algo). Keywords to me is like bragging to google about my content lol... (only my opinion!) and that lowers my weight as a site towards search engines. Thats my only tip lol... and thanks again for the $500 stuff.

Problem is none of my "competitors" dont publish their adrates! Weird but true. Anyway I will sign up with that link right now though I dont think I will eventually choose a third medium lol... Cheers!

its amazing..2000 visitors in 2 months..i guess another thing is that ur themes would be distributed on hundreds or even thousands of 'free nokia themes' sites which also bring traffic...also u can find out how much this kind of traffic gets for a 125 block by using adtoll again,,u could check impresions and cost of other advertisers and determine a price...let me noe wen u sign up..:)...u myt want to lower it around 300 bucks just to see ur response if they get booked ryt away then mayb u cud raise it..im off to install simple tags :D

I don't think people will pay $500 for an 125x125... I think ideally, people might pay like $50/month or $100/month for that but definitely not $500...

Yeah, because look, he has 600+ subscribers... and I know a lot of people who get 2,000+ unique visitors, but they're from social bookmarking sites and most of them aren't people who return.

So, I guess it depends on where the traffic comes from? Because people are looking for returning visitors, not one timers...

Firstly thanks a lot for the feedback WhoJayBe! :D Appreciate it a lot! I usually dont get traffic from social bookmarking sites, but when I do get stumbled or dugg... the per day visit usually jumps to 3500/3700 that day. Like for the last 30 days, these are my stats... :D

    Page views : 322,195
    Unique Visitors: 83,835
    New Visitors: 64,008

I only started blogging since Mid January 2008 so I am not sure if 20,000 returning visitors is of any value when it comes to assess my ad rates know what I mean?.... lol.. I hope it is!

And secondly, all my designs are unique and no where else to be found without proper linking to my page (like when I get featured in a diff site) so I guess that helps bring some traffic.

I gained 600+ subscribers in less than two months, so is that a good thing?

Now you know the stats I guess... :) What do you think each 125x125 should be charged with, with no other ads except only 4 blocks throughout the site.

Bro honestly I dont have a clue. That is an ad which is actually given by my hosting company in return of my hosting on their server. We dont have paypal here and I dont have an international credit card yet so I had choose that :-( Anyway if all goes well hopefully I'll simply pay them every month and get that adsense ad out of the way (since I'll be getting a credit card this month).

One more thing that I personally feel is that, for 125x125 ads is that advertisers opts for new visitors rather than repeating ones. Cause unlike adsense, the link for those 125x125 ads are always the same. So repeating visitors have less probability to click the ad twice (cause they already know where the ad takes them) compared to a brand new one doing it for the first time right?

Yep thats exactly what I did. Be sure you check out the tags menu before you make extravagant changes to your site. Please don't overdo anything. :) if you have lots of categories, make sure you turn off do follow on categories through all in one seo (u surely use that right?). Also you can turn on auto tags from the simple tags menu for maximum optimization.

Lol.. I just dont like text ads. Weird I know!

However much you can get man. Start your negotating price higher than you think you can get to play up the value of being on your site. Don't undercut yourself.
