how much should i charge for VB set-up.

    How much woulld be a fair prise to charge for a VB set up with portal.

    to do EVEYTHING from the ground up.

    Not much, it's not that hard to setup....I would think it depends on your time, it wouldn't take longer than 30 minutes surely? Maybe $25.

    What does VB charge to set it up??? I think they have an option for this.......... just under cut what they charge by $10.00 :)

    For $135 Jelsoft (vB) will install a basic bare-bone installation of vBulletin. If you want anything like a portal they won't do it because they won't touch any 3rd party software.

    In the past for a bare-bone installation and a quick portal (like vBadvanced CMPS) I've charged about $100 and total time would be a little under an hour. If they wanted anything else installed, like hacks or styles, then pricing was per hour after the initial install.

    TBH, I do this sort of thing for free :p (Won't do anymore) but yeah I would charge around 50.

    It can be $25 to $100, I would say, depending on you customer. If he is really stuck, it could be worth $100 to him.:)
