I hope this is the right section to post this in. A company wants to advertise on my blog and I was wondering what I should charge them. My website gets around 10,000 hits a month, PageRank 0 and is 3 months old.
what's your blog's name and url?? i mean what's it about, if it's about a niche really rare in the web, you should get quite a good bargain, i'm getting around 30,000 unique visitors per month, and i only charge $50.00 trying to push it up to 50k unique visitors per month~ fighting the rankings~
you can monetizate traffic and see, how much adsense gives to you. also you can check for TextLinksAds service

how many unique visitors do u have , also how many are returning visitors, other then that how much is the growth in visitors daily, depends on all these factors.
Yeah, always just start low. Then as more and more people request to put ads up increase the price (this is known as controlling the demand).
Look for other sites like yours, and try to see if they sell ad space. Look for their rates, many sites post them. Depending on the site, it can make a huge difference. I have a road rage site the averages about $5 or more cpm, where my polling site is not even half that. Automotive sites do well. Not sure about yours though.
