Yesterday was my best day for Adsense. I also have Infolinks on my site. I had around 14,000 page views and between Adsense and Infolinks I earned a grand total of $32. I was ecstatic, as although my stats have been increasing steadily the past few weeks, this was more than I had ever made. I would give more info but I'm not sure if it would breach the Adsense TOS (I might have already anyways). How much should I be making from this kind of traffic? Also, the site is about a video game. There is an add-on to the game which I have a few tutorials on but they still account for a HUGE chunk of my traffic. The game involves an in-game currency which is quite tough to make by just playing the game, but you can still buy "packs" of "cards" with REAL MONEY, and the cards can be sold for in game currency. A ton of people get carried away and spend too much, I'm taking hundreds of dollars because they're hoping for a super rare card. The game company made almost $40 million from it last year. My point here is that people are very willing to spend real money for the in game currency but often feel like it was a bad decision in the end. Many people say "This year I won't spend anything. I'm just going to make it all in the game." This is why my tutorial on making money in the game is very popular. Would it be worth it to make like a 35 page ebook and sell it for $5 each? Would many people really buy it? My tutorials on this add-on get around 4,000 page views/day so there is definitely big interest in it. Was supposed to be a little side note but it turned into a long rambling paragraph The main question here is the bold above. Thanks!
It's a tutorial site on a video game series. They come out with a new game every year and about a month ago I was the first to get articles up about the new game so my traffic shot up. Even a month later (after initial hype) I have settled out at around 12,000-15000 PVs/day. Google serves about 80% of my traffic. But about my question... What do you think?
i can yell you about the adsense revenue. if you have a good keyword then i think its possible to earn around 50-60$ from that Page view. so i don't think your income is low. it will gradually increase. so don't be tensed. thanks
From what I've seen, yeah, I should be earning $50-$60/day from Adsense alone, perhaps even more. So considering I'm earning only $32/day INCLUDING Infolinks, I think I'm earning under par. I have under 0.5% CTR... What do I do?
How about you give an answer rather then try to find out how he gets his traffic...? Honestly OP nobody can answer that for you but Games are a low paying niche.
Swap the locations of your banners and the colors, try different things out and see what will bring you the highest CTR.
That may because your keywords and ads are low paid ads. The common your keywords, the lower the payout. You might need to review your keywords and think of some niche keywords, so that you can earn more.
Improve your keywords, look for high paying keywords, improve your ad locations. and you should be on $100+ Good luck
pupul is right you should earn around $70 per day with 14,000 ad impressions if your ecpm is $5. Now your ecpm is lower than that, at around $2.5 you can increase it with a better ad placement. From what I understand you have already a quite generous cpc, so increasing your ctr will work wonders and you might easily earn more than $70 with this traffic.
