For SEO you pay from $5 to $1000 per hour. You get what you pay for really.

The best thing is to ask for some quotes and choose according to your budget.

My services start at $500 as a guide.

I charge $50 per hour so you would get 10 hours of my time.

Depending on the site I would do a full review of your pages and recommend a few services (paid links, link bait, directory submission, article submission, content creation etc) for you to proceed with.

    Hi Raines!

I am in Louisville, KY USA www.thelouisvilleseo.com - my rates have changed and have not been updated so disregard the pricing at the moment.

As far as ballpark pricing - if you are going to make "thousands" off a site, a firm will usually charge accordingly... if it's a cheap site to them, they may charge less - this doesn't stand firm - just what I've noticed from cold calling firms myself.

If you gave me a fresh website to design, code in XHTML/CSS and do SEO I'd charge $1500 for the design and coding and $1000 a month. Considering a few clients that I have and rankings I am getting I could charge more, but I don't have a family to raise so I don't.

There are instances where I can lower my pricing to as low as $350 but you get about 3 hours worth of work each month for that price. In 3 hours I do a lot; With more money, meaning more time, I can do even more for your website.

Note: This is NOT trying to sell my services - just telling my pricing because it was asked for ballpark ranges. Thanks!

Thats a $5000 budget depending on the quality you want. The PPC would include getting top spots, maintaining it and other off site SEO activities.

It varies greatly, depending on what you want done. If you want to get the number one spot for a top keyword, that will require months of seo, and will cost you way over 5 figures. Sometimes you have find some seo experts that can get you the number one spot in Google, Yahoo, and MSN, for a low competitive keyword in 30 days for $300-$500 which is a steal deal. I haven't outsourced PPC before but can imagine that it will be costly. usually companies hire PPC consultants because they have the big bucks to spend on their marketing campaign.
