How much should an entry level internet marketer make?

    Hey Guys!

For about the past year I've been the internet marketing assistant for a small ecommerce company in North Carolina. I manage the company blog, maintain our pay per click campaigns, create and edit our landing pages (we have over 50) plus other miscellaneous tasks.

My supervisor is leaving and I am more or less getting a promotion and I'm fairly certain that a raise will come with the move.

But, I'm trying to do a little research on what a reasonable salary is for an entry level (about a year) internet marketer...in case I have to negotiate.

It's a small company of around 30 people in a small to medium city in North Carolina. Oh and I will report to the general manger.

    Any suggestions?

Well if it's a drastic jump from your current position then I would go 11-15k increase.

If you're in midst of competition, I would go from 8-11k

It all depends on many factors. Especially the current state of the US and the downtime that comes from the Winter season for online marketing I would say stick between the low to mid $1x,000 increase range.

    That's my 2c
