How much server resource does "tag cloud" take up? Does it help SEO?

    I have two question.

    1. I had an idea to add a tag cloud to my site, but I wonder how it will affect my cpu usage overtime. Any one have any experience with tag cloud that can tell me the cpu usage?

    2. Will tag cloud help or hurt my SEO or google ranking?
