just a simple question, how much search rank for a keyword we should choose for a website? some people said, it is better around 500,000,some people said it should be around 2,000,000. ....or higher... some people think it is better to choose the high search rank one,thus,it will bring more traffic. some people think it is better to choose a non-competitive keywords with low search rank,thus, it will go top #1 in google easily. so everyone,how do you think? how much is better?
It depend on your goal. First sort keywords from no of searches per month. It will give you traffic idea. Then search those keywords for phrase match, exact match keyword in title result idea. Then sort best keyword list. After that check competition using market samurai. So will end up with few gems.
Niche keywords is the answer to traffic. It is better to use many low competitive keywords which you can rank for faster than to use high competitive keywords that will be very difficult to rank for. Forget the big boys and the bigs searches. Focus on the keywords with less competition and less search

yes, i know the low competitive keywords is easy to rank for seo.But how los is it? is there is general number? like,100,000 or 500,000
I read on some thread here that with less than 100,000 "exact" search result, you can rank in top 5 easily. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
