Mine is on the 200MB now, seems weirt as it should be under 80-100MB and it keeps frozing for a miliseconds after i do fast surfing, it is cause my PC (2GHz/GB) is too slow? or some software error?

    I am on P4 2.4GB Core2Duo and 4GB Ram.

FF consumes too much memory and when you are signing in or signing out of gmail, it pauses my other FF windows for few seconds.

I like FF but simply hate that part.

Just turned it on. 86Mb. Never over 140Mb no matter how many tabs are open. Obviously if a site is using lots of images and javascript then it will use more since Firefox puts everything in cache and uses available memory because that's what available memory is for. That's why you have 2Gb of ram so it's available!

Of course, FF won't use more than what is available. Also, there are settings that can be changed to limit all that if you wish. I never do.

I have surpassed 1.5GB of RAM using firefox, its a joke the amount of resources it consumes, if not for the handy SEO addons etc I would never use it. Opera would beat it hands down
