1 GB on both my home and work PCs. Anything less can be a bit restrictive if you run a few memory intensive apps.
I´ve got 1G on my main PC, 515 on the laptop and another 512 on the second rig. If i can aford it, my next upgrade i´ll have at least 2*2G. For me it´s crucial to have memory, always with lots of app. opened. And when windows vista cames out 2g it will be...well not enought
1gb on laptop, just upgraded it from 512. When you have Photosop, premiere, dreamweaver and a couple of internet explorers opened at the same time it comes in handy
i dont like the concept of videogames: you get the console for (almost) free and pay 30% more than for the pc game, but you can play the pc game in a higher resolution, download mods for it, get a demo to try it out, just think pc games offer more value for the money. or get some older games for less than 10$ on a pc-games magazine disc (gothic 2 on some 8$ mag here!). and i already have a pc, so no need for another game toy here... some people complained about the noise of the xbox360, and i always have a hard time to remember what all this buttons do in a game or how to handle this analog sticks on a console. oh and i have 1gb here. i can live with it for now
I am a little sad about it but I only have 512 on my computer. I would love to upgrade to 2GB on my next computer.
