Nope. I don't. But can send it to you if needed. However i don't know if it's really for $40. Maybe amit b has to confirm this
If its 2G for $80 and fits the same specs as the link i provided, I will definately take someone up on this. I don't know if India uses the same Dell models and RAM configuration though
1 GB Kingston DDR2, PC4200, 533 Mhz FSB Single Stick costs close to $100 in India. I currently have 2GB (2X1 GB Kingston DDR2, 533 Mhz FSB) on my desktop. I have 1GB (same config) on my VAIO, will upgrade to 2 GB in a weeks time. RAM prices are steep these days, they would crash in around 10 days. AND, FYI, You cannot ship electronic/computer parts outside India through any Govt. or courier service.
I wouldn't to save $20 anyway...Now Im curious where Amit gets 4G for $160. Maybe out of the back of a white van
I'm just now going to upgrade to 2Gb when i found out Crucial don't accept PayPal.... More business to eBay....
I wont suggest buying RAM from ebay unless until you are buying something like Kingston or Hynix or some other good brand. Most of the assembled RAMs comes just with testing warranty and there are a lot of scams on ebay who would send you faulty RAM. Even if you plan on buying from ebay make sure you know the exact config for RAM.
He stopped posting right after that...I think he installed his "new RAM" and it burned out his computer.
I got mine from Chenoy trade center Secundrabad which is the wholesale area of computers for the whole south india. No idea about the current rates i posted the price i paid
who cares till the seller gives 11 months warranty and i never saw a branded ram becasue the stickers on them can be changed
I choose who I buy from on eBay very carefully, not just computer parts. Though, if anyone care to recommend a good online retailer who accepts PayPal that would be great.
