I have 4GB in a multi-processor (2 x Intel 3.4 Ghz) in my main home machine. Since I do 80% of my work remotely from home, I am usually remote desktopped into an office pc similar to my home machine, and am logged onto several multi-Xeon processor linux machines with at least 8 GB of DDR SDRAM each.
It looks slow I don't think I'll ever buy another Gigabyte, at least not a cheaper variety. I always had problems with mine...but maybe it was inferior memory
