?

Google gives us

  1. Higher PR points if our link found at higher PR sites.

    90.0%
  2. Same PR points from all websites where our link found.

    10.0%

    Dear all buddies,

If i submit my site to other directories that some of them have higher PR and some of them are PR0. so my link will be at two category sites (1) Higher PR (2) PR 0. Can i say that Google gives high PR points to me if found at (1) and low PR if found at (2) ?. Or can i say that big G! gives same PR points from every websites that pointed to me ?

it depends on how many outbound links those pages have, and the PR of those pages
Don't spend to much time thinking about PR, just focus on quality content and the links will come to you ;)

Depends on the page rank from which you gets the external link. And only google knows how much waitage it gives exactly.

The fact that a lower PR ranking website points to you almost certainly does NOT lower your PR rank. It just doesn't help much.

If a link from a lower PR site could hurt the PR of a site, it would be too easy for a competitor to point a bunch of low PR sites to your site. I am virtually certain that the big G would not allow their algo to let that happen.

If your link is on their home page then you would be getting a higher pr link, if it is not then don't expect anymore.

I agree, the PR is a direct result of links, so if you want to get high PR you need links from high PR pages that don't have too many external links since the PR that passes from that page is spreaded between all external links.

Higher PR juice if your backlink from higher PR site.
Quality is better than quantity. 1PR7 backlink provide more PR juice than 500 PR1

I agree with the idea with having quality links rather than hundreds of junk links
Anyway, the site where is coming from your backlink must not be a link farm (having a lot of external links) because the more they got the low you get

Generally you can't control who will link to your site but incoming links do carry some weight, it's either more or less.

you are far more likely to 'lose' the PR7 link than 500 PR1 links.

And who is to say the PR1 sites won't start to rise in PR?
