depends on how good he is. if he can solve hard problems figure out things quckly and so on... but they earn a lot these days.
Depends on a couple of things: skill - why pay someone 35/hour if they're gona take 6 hours longer than the next guy. country of origin - coders from india always bring the competition price down. turn around time - faster can warrant more money Marketing skills - Someone who might kick the shit out of any project he gets, might still be quite underpaid if they don't know how to market themselves. There's a saying though, "Fast, Cheap, Good - Pick two."
