I am making about $50-75 a month with Amazon. Not what I'd like it to be, but I didn't start all that long ago.
I started Amazon the last week of August and made around $70. I have made $50 so far this month, but it could be much higher if I had more time instead of work and school.
I made about £70 ($140) in the first 2-3 weeks running Amazon + Adwords. I've made about £124 total from my website (including other affiliates programs) since starting my blog 15 days ago. The whole blog is basically about making money with Amazon + Adwords, posting my experiments, results and ideas http://blogsformoney.com/ Danny
I don't know why some people are talking about pennies. I just made my first sale from a new blog and made $90 for a single item. I don't promote jewelry but I saw a ring that costs 11,600.00. I wouldn't mind the commission off that.
how are you guys making money off amazon? i know through affiliate marketing but are you running a site that has their products? are you developing applications for facebook? i'm new and confused but would love to learn if you want to spill some of your secrets
Some people do product reviews, some use associate-o-matic (not free) which gives you your own Amazon store, and some write content sites or blogs with affiliate links in their articles, and some use PPC. Of course, you could use any combination of the four. You can sign up as an affiliate through the Amazon.com home page.
35-40% net margins using [buy xxxx] PPC. Quick toss on losers is key! Pay lag really stinks. Outsource.
I'm new with amazon affiliate program so far I haven't had a sale yet. I've just started 4 days ago. I'm trying to build traffic right now.
I use Associate-o-Matic for most of the share of that monthly number, but on some sites it's just the standard amazon generated banners with my affiliate link in them. Sorry, no radical secret to share, just steady, small income every month.
there ARE some good niches...hehe...i shut my mouth Promote those niches with good keywords on PPC. If i had more funds for adwords i might be rich, for sure. ONE niche goes extremely well. Wish i could pump in $100/day on ads or something...hehe Amazon and PPC is good, but focus on high-prized items, say $600 and up.
i just sold ONE single product, a EU 5000 Plasma TV which is EU200 right there I recommend focusing on high-value articles (see my sig...hehe) and pump some decent amount in PPC, eg. adwords.
uhm...sure Limit whatever you sell and filter out everything which gives you only pennies. Fewer clicks and higher commission. Do you think that only TEN sales is not doable ? With massive PPC and maybe some additional sites thrown in, focus on $5000 products and up. Even with only a little money put into PPC i do NOT think that 10 sales a month is out of this world 10 sales a $200 commission is $2000. Just forget all that low-level garbage like books and CDs, go fo the big things and do some niche research, what people are looking for etc..etc... Amazon has so many items and there are many, many items alone which have decent search traffic, items which are VERY expensive and give you nice commission.
