How much of your traffic is from search engines?

mine is around 80%, is this normal? is it good?

 

Depends. generally the higher the better but considering the overall traffic if you have just over 100 visits a month 80% is not saying much.

 

It varies from site to site actually. Most of my blogs get search engine traffic, another site of mine gets direct traffic.

70 to 80 percent of traffic from the search engines and 15% of referring sites and
about 10% is direct traffic. I think in the initial stage of link building 100 visits of site is good.

 

60 to 70% traffic from search engine is good but along with traffic you should track bounce rate of your visitors.....how much time, they are spending on the website and which is the most attractive page in your website.
Improve that page and increase your website traffic and reduce bounce rate.........you will get conversion and get appreciation also.

 

I think is good to get high traffic at the beginning...but if after a period of time...repeated visitors should be more than from search engine...if not...there must be some problems there

 

This figure is very much depends upon site to site. And i don't think it does make any difference if you are getting traffic from Search engines or from any other source.
