    Im wondering if the SEOs I usually speak to have an SEO-biased view..as of course youre gonna get most, almost ALL of your traffic from search if thats what you focus on...

    Anybody in here heavy on leveraging contextual high traffic sites for links?

    How about buying high traffic links for a low budget from webmasters/bloggers
    who are only in it for the fun of it and not for marketing reasons...?

    Are there effective ways to get direct traffic to get more independent from the search engines and lower your risk profile?

    I think only 15% of my traffic comes from links and the rest from search engines.
