I wonder why that is... Anyone has any suggestions? I mean google is a better SE and more used, but is MSN that much behind?
I have a site that is 0.2-0.4% MSN But I also have one site where MSN is 90%. This one is an old one though. It's very odd.
for me it varies around 6%-10%, which kind of helps with how much effort you should put in for optimising for MSN
Our site is still relatively new, it'll be a year old in April. MSN was the first to rank us well but has fallen way behind in recent times. Google is now king of course but MSN still gives a respectable 12%
According to google analytics: 01.01.07 to today. Yahoo 47.54% Other 15.93% Direct hits 15.21% Google 8.38% Ask 8.02% Stumbleupon 4.92%
@guidyy: Does yahoo have such a big market share in Italy or is it just your site? @usdir and webmasterlabor.com: Do you have any idea why you get so much more traffic from msn than most other people on here? Do you think you 'care' about optimizing for them a bit more?
OT: I'm in Italy but website is owned by my girlfriend and she is an US citizen. Traffic from yahoo is 60% USA, 13% UK 10% Canada. The rest is international. Thanks G to put me supplemental and MSN crawling but not indexing...
