A HighRanking Forum thread has a site owner asking overall what should one allocate of the marketing budget towards SEO?
I think one should spend minimum 40% on SEO so that people attract towards the website and it is the basic purpose of a website to is to capture traffic.
It depends on client pocket, in this field there are so many web designers and Seo available that you have to customize your budget according to their needs.
We have 35% budget on our marketing efforts, if we don't grow we won't last in the business. Also it depends on business to business depending upon the industry.
That depends on the competition level. . The more competitive keywords you go for, the more your budget should be. Simple as that
In general it should be at least 30% of the total marketing budget but as the others said it all depends upon the market and service type. e.g. for local business it can be less and for online services it can be more.
