How much of the article must I re-write/spin so it's not counted as duplicated?

Recently most of my traffic has been coming directly from EZA, however I'm planning on using other article directories as well. My question is how much of the article must I re write so that Google doesn't flag it up as "duplicated" content and the link effectively becomes wasted?

I'm planning on submitting articles to the "quick releasing" article directories such as GoArticles, SearchWarp, ArticlesBase, ArticleCity, ArticleAlley etc.

Personally I wouldn't spin or rewrite any articles. It's really cheap to higher someone to write quality unique articles for you, but if you chose to spin/rewrite your articles then I would suggest atleast changing the first 2 paragraphs and the last. That's if its only a 4-5 paragraph article. Just make sure you change around some of the words with in the 2-3 paragraph.

If you need help with article writing and submitting to those directories, we can help, just check out our sig.

Rewrite it, and then check it with Copyscape. Copyscape will let you know whether the re-written article can be considered as unique or not.

Google can easily detect even partial duplication of content. They have even patented their method of detecting duplicate or near duplicate content.

I agree w/ GuruCreation that you should just write a separate article for submission, not modify one from your site to submit.

Ultimately yes.... There is absolutely no value in rewriting or spinning articles.!

Just makes me think you are lazy and don't really care about your site...

Google is looking at the sentence level. Drag and Drop the sentence into the search bar and run a search on it, If Google returns any result that isn't yours, then the page/article will be gray-barred.

Alright, so I'm planning on doing this for my articles to make it easier to write them and produce many fairly good quality articles in a short space of time.

Have an article template that I will re use to write my article each time. I will be making sure to stick to writing about the keyword/s that are used as tags and in the title, also the anchor text linking to my site will be based on the keyword.

My template will be as follows; an introduction paragraph, a "myth" that I expose about the product, I will then give them some useful information e.g. tips or techniques then a link to my website in the actual text. Of course I will also place a link to my site in the article resource box aswell.

I used the drag and drop method to test out something, so I grabbed an ezine article and dragged and dropped 2 sentences of someones article into the google search bar. It came up with 3 more results on other articles sites such as ArticlesBase and SearchWarp. Now as far as I understand these "duplicates" are useless for that persons back linking purposes?
