How much of my Traffic should be Organic?

    I currently have a few sites and they have what I think is very high organic traffic (natural from search engine). Depending on the site it ranges from 25% to 50% over a week period (some days its +75%).

    I've worked on one a lot, and it has a lower score (25%) but the other site I wiped up in about an hour and it's getting over 50% organic visitors a day.

    Should I be trying to get more referral traffic or is Organic Traffic good too?

    PS. Sites are getting about the same amount of traffic a day.

    Organic traffic is the best to have, since they are free and it helps bring in new visitors. But at the same time you have to increase your direct visits. I think 50% is a ok rate.

    There's no right or wrong. Think about Google or Ebay for instance, they would have something like 98% direct traffic.
