How much of bandwidth?

    It totally depends on the size of your pages, and what your traffic is doing once they hit your site.

    It's really difficult to estimate bandwidth usage unless you've already got some stats to go on.

    Yeah... true... But I need an average estimate.. Okay let it make a bit easier:

    Let's say... today 5000 people visited my site, opened up a few pages (3 - 6), now what will be the bandwidth..

    And is 3000+ bandwidth enough for a forum like DP?

    Much less that 3000GB.
    For a forum you would need more like 100GB a month for 50000 page views a day. Go for a hostgator account or something.

    If your getting 50000+ pageviews a month then you are most probably making a decent amount from advertising, and thus can afford a decent hosting plan, if not your own dedicated server (such as one from hostgator). Which is what I would recomend, that 50000 will grow, and you want to be ready.
