I'm strongly considering building a basic Wordpress theme that is a stripped down version of WP, consisting of only the PHP with minimal formatting. I'm building this so I've got a base to use upon which I can more easily create CSS layouts and I will no longer need to cannibalize existing themes to get what I want. Who else would be interested in this? It would be nothing more than files that have nothing more than the PHP for WP and resets for CSS. Thanks! -MP
Hi there, Framesets or frameworks as they are referred to are very important for theme developers who are just beginning. It is very important that the CSS is cleanly structured so that these beginners will know what and where to modify for the desired effect. Right now on the web there are lots of framesets. Some of them are ok some are not. Some are very basic some are more advanced. But, to answer your question: there is some interest in these framesets. Peace!
