I know the big affiliate marketers are putting some money out, in order to get business. I want to market a few affiliates and generate about $2000 per month in commish. How much am I looking at spending fora dvertising, ppc, and SEO?

    Thanks

it really does depend on your conversion rate for your business. I only use about $200 a month to get some good business. Allot can be done if you do allot of research before sending your money out to work for you.

make sure that you thoroughly do your research instead of gambling with what might or might not work

You need some start up funds to begin in this business. Be prepared to lose some of it when testing your first campaigns. $1000 would be my minimum to start with. If a campaign doesn't work or loses money just don't give up on it.

    OK, Dear shkad14,
Let me see if I can help a little.
First of all, you MUST realize that money will not do advertising for you.
I mean, NO amount of money will give you a certain amount of business.
Anyone who tries to tell you otherwise, is probably aiming at your pocketbook.
Let's be straight on this, OK?
It is ENTIRELY up to you to decide how much business you (realistically) may want to get,
how resourceful you want to become, and how determine you need to be in order to
achieve that $2000/mo+ (remember - the cost of living goes up day-by-day).
Do you know that the SEO should not cost you a thing?
Do you know the whole story behind the SEO?
I can tell you if you want. Well, to make the answer to this short, the SEO cost for your
monthly campaigns should be a round "0"
In order to do the PPC, you really need to know what (and how exactly) you are doing.
Do you know how fast you can loose all your PPC funds on idle "lookie-loos" NONE of which
will EVER buy from you in a million years?
In other words, it is not "how much [money you spend on it]", but rather "how much [skill you got in it]".
You do not have to believe me with this one. It rather is whether you do, or your own bitter experience tells you one day the same tough truth.
So, my final advise to you will be - you should not think of "how much" your success must cost you monetarily, but rather "how much" you want to succeed, and "how much" are you going to give up (not money!) to reach the certain level of success.
Honest to the bottom of my heart I hope I was helpful to you.
Or should I elaborate on something?
