This is very sad question for me. I know i can't earn little money by directories but i run discussion forums also but i didn't earn much and now i run websites and i am earning some pocket money only.
oh, let them speak, let them feel cool Exactly just very few can understand this. (thanks for those, who still keep on giving me bad carma, you are really dumbheads)
weird question... all i can say is that the income can support my other projects, goldfish is dead, sadly.
In the good ol' days $4000 - $5000 per month on directories alone. Then Google screwed all of us so now about $900 - $1200.
I run several directories. I made from zero to about $500.00 month on each of them. It is like any other job. Your income will depend on how much effort your put to it and your skills at selling. The only significant money comes from paid listings. "monetizing" with google ads, affiliate links and things like that, gives a couple of hundred per month. ( Please note that I AM NOT saying how much a directory can make. I am telling you how much I make. Every body has a different history on this)
Man, there's some people with some serious issues in this thread. There's nothing wrong with, actually strike that, any intelligent person who wants to get into a business will do research. That includes finding out about income and potential. A smart business person asks questions and tries to get the best understanding they can. This includes asking industry people many questions. Stinker, you're doing the smart thing. Good luck with your research.
Just about a littlebit over $250, or thats the avereage. Not so good maybe. But make a lot of sites, and then we will be talking money .
One cant do a half decent job on "a lot of" directory sites. Half-assed efforts in pursuit of a quick buck is why many hardworking directory owners detest dilettantes. Nobody wants to get tarred with the same brush.
Thank you, Boatsource And also thanks again to all those who replying with positive answers and helpfull discussions. Appreciate.
