I just did my income report for 2013 and I am amazed at my numbers. My writing business brought in $80,000 alone. That is a number that I thought I would not see it is double from my 2012 income. I did put in a lot of work and long hours so it definitely was worth it in the end. I have seen numbers lower and higher throughout the web and I am just wondering how much did your online business bring you in 2013?
I congratulate you on your success, well done. But there are four reasons why I would decline to post my income on here: (1) I very much doubt anyone would believe it. (2) Posting it would encourage scammers and useless PM's. (3) I feel it would be a bit classless and tacky. (4) How would anyone determine that I was telling the truth?
Interesting. I was curious. Many people post on their blogs their income so I guess many people are classless and tacky. Some income reports I have seem show where people say that they have made 300,000 + from affiliate marketing. Why lie about your income it is not going to make you any more money by doing so.
The answer to that is obvious if you are attempting to sell or promote a service or method. "Look at me, see what I am making? You too could be bringing in this kind of income!" So it could make you more money if people buy into your business ideas. (not everyone is 100% honest on here)
And pride, too. And idiocy. And just because. In other words, because people don't make a whole lot of sense, especially online.
In that instance, I can agree. However, this forum does not bring those thoughts to mind. I feel like that all of the time of Warrior Forum with all of the get rich quick ebooks floating around.
I hope this forum is better then warriors, but on a small scale, we do see that here. We once had some nut, bragging about how much he was making, and selling an ebook of his secrets, then in another thread he was begging for a small loan from investors for something. I think you will find that most people here will have a healthy skepticism of what people claim they earn. It helps create the illusion you are valuable. Like if they earn $100k per year, and you want to advertise on their site, or pay for services, guest posting, or whatever, then you have to pay. If they put that they had that they earnt $8 in that year, then lol, if you need something, you can pay whatever you want, It is pretty much the same trick as having no work, completing a job within hours of it being handed to you, and making the client wait 1-3 days, to give the illusion, that they are not the only client that you have. If a client thinks you have nothing going on, barely any clients, barely any income, then you cannot justify charging above average rates. TO put this another way: you earn alot, and you are busy and cant immediately start a new clients project = you are doing the client a favour by accepting his job and he has to pay whatever you ask him to pay. you earn only a little, and you have no work on at all = client is doing you a favour by giving you some work, and you have to accept whatever coins are in their pocket.
I think the Average income on DP is $9 every 6 months. So you did very well for yourself little lady!
$80k for a writing business is pretty impressive. Is that your net income, or gross? If gross, how much total profit did you make?
2014 should give more oportunities to make money so I will say that I earned less in 2013 than in 2014 You are a good writer if you get 80k in year.
Enough that each year I cringe at how much the tax bill is. I guess it's a good problem to have but somethings gotta give with taxes.
make around $9K+ in year, although I've invested bit extra, to that income to find more opportunity on future earning MOM are making $200/Hr as part time JOB, You only have skill to write
