I've lost nothing but I could do so in the future. The contextual advertising service I use, Oxado, is worse than useless. I often make less than 1 Euro Cent per click - sometimes need 3 or 4 clicks to get past 1 Cent. I'll be a very old man before I reach the payout limit (100 Euros) so I might ditch them before then, hence I'll lose my balance. Bummer. You win some, you lose some!

    Thousands.
I start up too many projects and work on too many websites, sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't.
As long as the income is greater than the expense, I'll keep it up too :)

I have wasted a lot of money purchasing domains thinking I could resell them in an instant for a profit. Stupid get rich quick ideas. But the total amount is no where near the thousands or anything.

CountryBoy, don't you think the sooner you ditch them the less you will loose?

I didnt lose money on anything you mentioned but i did lose just over £1000 (just shy of $2000) on the FTSE in the middle of last year - I actually lost it, as in I bought, then sold to cut my losses, I dont own any at the mo so cant be clawed back later on from dividends.

I dont regret it though. It was risky, which I was fully aware of and thats the reason I dont regret it! Another time it would have paid off, thats the nature of it! :)

I really envy people who haven't lost anything. Keep it real. But i was thinking maybe losing money is part of experience or "education" if you can say so.

Thousands in the past. Unused licensed software, useless domain names,
online income has covered it all though.

I trusted an open source SEO component for Joomla. When the site gets bigger, troubles began. And i am paying 500-1000$ to solve the problem as quick as possible :(

Luckily, nothing. The only two investments I've made (Worldwide Brands, Inc and Site Build It) have worked out beautifully for me. All the other stuff I do is free.

I try to think of losses as tuition. Also, while losses are painful it's not so easy to see the losses from missed opportunities you didn't know about because you were afraid of a loss.

You might buy 10 ebooks/books/systems etc. and not make a dime from the first nine. Then the tenth one comes along, something clicks, and you get your money back and more. I think "losses" are just part of the game.

I've lost tons of money on buying things that don't work...lost as in...it was a useless expenditure..But, I wasn't in red.

But, you don't lose anything if you learn from the experience...which is what we should all be trying to do anyway..

Like, if you had an impulse buying..go back look at their sales copy..etc
