"Here are a few stats from Squidoo's June's payout (April's earnings). * 400 lensmasters were "paid" $50 cash. MANY more earned at least that and donated some of it. * 180 lensmasters were paid over $100 in cash; 60 were paid over $250 * Almost 20 lensmasters were paid over $500, including three paid over $1000! Yes! It can happen! * Nearly 100 different partner charities were sent over $4300 in donations! Wouldn't it be great if we could double that by September? And this is just what lensmasters are making directly through Squidoo. That doesn't count the thousands of dollars from affiliate programs, direct website sales, and valuable client referrals that users see each and every day." Source
Well honestly that seems disappointing. There is millions of lenes, and only 180 people are making over $100 a month? That's like trying to win the lotto.
I'd also think that those guys pulling down the big bucks have hundreds or even thousands of lenses making a few cents per day each.
i think some of the lensmaster already got paid more than that, it just they didn't want to be publish, n keep silent behind the screen, and squidoo always ask us to donate the money, it's only the matter of percentage we want to donae
Only this much???? I always wondered people could make lot of money in Squidoo. Thanks for pointing out.
The statistics looks interesting. The fact that lesser number of people making over 100 dollars shows that there is a lot of competition in squidoo.
Most of the high earners make it through affiliate sales and aren't all recorded in the Squidoo statistics. I made a few lenses a short while ago - think the next payout is coming soon. Not expecting much since my lens are new but hopefully they earn something to inspire me to keep going with them!
With very few exception, I don't think anybody will make a decent amount of money with Squidoo, except from affiliate links, of course.
Squidoo DOES make for a great incoming link to your main website! To help you rank better in the search engines... ;-)
I never liked profit sharing sites. They take a good percentage of what you make - I'd rather put the content on my site.
Thats astonishing!....Im really surprised it was so low! Where did you get the information from? I cant believe they bothered to show it to the public
My roommate got paid about $150-$200 every month from his lenses. He's always busy in the weekend, working on his lenses, wondering if that's worth his time.
