How much keywords should used in META TAG

You have to put 150 to 170 characters in keyword tag on your website.

 

As of my knowledge 3-4 keywords are good but you have to set in title character limit.If you have used more keyword title your site will consider as spamming and it's not for good for you.

20-30 should be very big number of keywords to target in one page. i suggest to use 3-5 keywords to target for one page and you can use the similar keywords of your targeted keywords along with that in meta keyword field.

 

3 to 5 keywords sufficient but content matters for 6 to 7 keywords & site title

 

Search engine like Google use characters between 60-70 or we can say not more than 66 characters in title bar.
In case of keywords,if you want your keywords to placed in title bar of search engine you should always go for only 3 to 4 keywords including spaces.

Well the limit of meta description is 150 and according to the limit don't repeat same keywords again - again. Its help you to include more keywords in description.

 

Keywords in a website meta tag should be 200 to 250 characters. If you have stuffed them higher then there is no matter to worry. The thing is that you can't rank only a single home or internal page by 20 keywords.

there isn't pattern that tell you how much keyword should be use in meta, but using keywords in meta tags are best practice for good SEO. First use keyword in nature way that a user don't think that your are forcing him for some thing. Best practice is use 1 time Long tail Keyword in title, 2 time in description and use that same long tail keywords in heading tags.

 

i think 5 is enough for singgle post, and it can be optimized in the articles for each keywords

Just follow one rule . Write only point to point. There is nothing which cannot be described in 20 30 keywords.
