Hi all, I have seen some website have huge amount of keywords (like 100 to 120) in "<meta name="keywords" content=" and some site have very few like 5 to 10. Both sites are using Adsense. How these keywords determines the Adsense ads & revenue?
The keywords can help google decide what the page is about. Overdoing it won't help, because then google is likely to weigh each keyword less. On a page with low or unclear content, having a good list of keywords (I'd say up to 20) can help determine what type of ads google will try for that page. but Google will also use it's own algorithms to decide what ads to show. Anything we do is just helping google start at a decent approximation.
