Hi fellow domain experts I have a one word .org domain: dowels (dot) org How much do you guys think its worth? From what I know, almost all the decent one word domains already taken including .com, net, org and .de. According to http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/dowels, it have several meanings: -NOUN 1. Also called dowel pin. Carpentry. a pin, usually round, fitting into holes in two adjacent pieces to prevent their slipping or to align them. 2. a piece of wood driven into a hole drilled in a masonry wall to receive nails, as for fastening woodwork. 3. a round wooden rod of relatively small diameter. 4. Dentistry. a peg, usually of metal, set into the root canal of a natural tooth to give additional support to an artificial crown. –VERB (used with object) 5. to reinforce or furnish with a dowel or dowels. I believe dowels (dot) com worth around $30,000. How about .org ? Any views? Thanks in advance. Arie
you could get an appraisel done but they can be different between different companies. I have had a few done by Sedo but at the end of the day the domain is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. A '.org' with this name doesnt appear to be that commercial so its a tricky one. Try a high BIN auction on moniker and see if you get offers
I would say it is worth about $5 if your lucky. That is just my opinion. It doesn't have much commercial value, unless you develop it into a profitable.
