how much is my site worth?

    i hope its okay to post this here.

    - its a myspace resource site
    - everything was made by hand, no script, i made everything myself
    - over 250 layouts (most have custom backgrounds)
    - "html help" section with about 30-40 tutorials for myspace
    - around 50 icons i made myself
    - 10 or so extended network banners
    - other banners, contact tables,etc.

    i make average $600 a month with adsense
    highest month was july 2006 when i made $1200


    how much would it be worth if i was to sell it?

    I think a site is sold revenue x 30 x 12 - marketing fees.

    Don't know ask around :)

    What's your pagerank?
    Traffic referrers? Do you use myspace bulletins to drive traffic? If your site gets se traffic is much more valuable.

    i do post bulletins now and then, i havent posted any this month and ive earned around $149+ (havent checked today but it was at that yesterday) most of my traffic comes from myspace profiles

    General rule of thumb is:

    monthly revenue x 10

    But it does depend on traffic, etc.

    Doesn't necessarily mean you would get $6k for it but that's a guideline.

    For getting conservative estimate take yearly revenues- profits, after operating expenses have been paid and multiply by 20.

    I think monthly revenue x 10 is what you will get quoted by most people- personally I think this metric reflects the offline world more - I would want to sell for alot more than 10 x monthly revs, as your site will probably continue to earn for years to come even with low maintenance :cool: :cool:

    I would say any where from 10x-18x of what you make.So if you make $500 a month then $5,000-$9000. Really just depends who wants it.
