DGD here, and I'd say roughly low-mid XXX I'd need stats such as: Revenue & traffic to give a better estimate.
DGD from fagex? Rule-12 can make over $100+ a month easily, people pay $20-$25 per banner spot, $5 for text ads, lots of donations, big member base, active and lots of traffic.
Yes, from Fagex. How much on average are you currently making in revenue per month? How much traffic are you getting per month? How are you getting traffic? Is it organic (search engines) or is it from advertising?
We just get members, people just join, google and stuff, Rule-12 once made like $15+ a day off adsense when we had it once.
You should setup Google analytics on the site. It'll help so much with finding out how you get your traffic, etc. Okay, so 15$ a day is 450$ a month. That's a lot of revenue for such a cheap niche. (I say cheap, because those gaming ads don't pay much, I know from experience) so that's pretty amazing. If that was constant revenue, and you could show proof of that to the potential buyers, you could get around 2-3k for the forum.
$2336 - apparently Website value calculator and web information See how much yours (& others) sites are worth. Quite interesting and good for a bit of fun, but I wouldn't take it too seriously.
It use to be, your monthly earnings times 10, domain name, work on the site, traffic flow. That's how I use to do it anyway.
From my point of view, i really think that all the earnings listed by the owner are not the real earnings. If you have an website earning more than $100/month, why do you sell it first of all? If somebody will give you as an example $2000, you will just lose lots of money. The may points is that you can earn that money in less than 20 months if as I said before, your earnings are the real one. Hope you do not mind, but this is my point of view.
It would probably hard to sell the site based on what you think it's capable of earnings versus what it actually is earning. Throw the ads up there for a few months, calculate an actual average monthly revenue, and multiply by 12 to 24. At the end of the day the site is worth only as much as someone else is willing to pay but the above suggestion can help you get an idea of what to expect the market to pay.
