$2000 based on revenue, maybe more if a buyer sees potential.

honestly. $2000 is too low. Based on traffic and forum content alone, I would say atleast $5k. Thats only if the traffic and forum posts are legit.

depends what kind of forum it is. if your only make 100$-200$ a month off it your doing a horrible horrible job with it. depending on what it is it could easily be worth 100,000-500,000$

    Depends on:
    a) how many ACTIVE members
    b) if you're a leader in your niche
    c) if your niche is popular/profitable

FYI, I sold a forum recently with almost similar stats but $500 earnings for $21k.

We would have to see what niche it is, but something like that would easily go for $80,000 - $150,000.

It depends on a number of factors. Sometimes, a lot of the posts are payed for and so are not genuine. It would depend a lot if there is a real sense of community there.

I guess it would also be useful if we had the niche of the forum, also if we had a link we could see how many members are active. Also see the quality of the posts.

Holy crap, I cant believe how many BS artists there are!!! lol

IMO, I think anywhere between $1300-$2700 would be ball park. It all depends on software, design, members per day, posts per day, traffic, SE rankings, site age!!
