I owned a blog over at Grademoney.com and I wished to sell it out. I'm just wondering what is the best value to sell it and will you personally buy it if you are looking for a blog just like mine? Here are some stats: 690 visitors a day over 49k unique visitors about 5 months old (maybe a bit younger) made me a total of $320 (I did not intend to monetize it much) 2 of the posts were hot on major sites like StumbleUpon 1,315 backlinks PR 2 Alexa rank = 698956 If I sell it at $1000...will anyone buy it? It had been PR3 yesterday though but changes to PR2 when I checked this morning. Opinion pls
the fact that your specialty seems to be "Free Information on Internet Marketing and Blogging for Money" and looking at your PR and $ revenue, then I would never buy such a blog because it appears that the free information you give failed to make you successful. a fulltime "ONLY-blogger" can make far better than that. if you look at some of the toplists for bloggers then you see that there are bloggers with ten thousands of uv/d. in addition looking at your traffic rank you actually have NO real traffic at all besides a few friends and yourself. that might be due to unpppular topics or due to lack of SEO. result: NO I would never "buy" such a blog - no matter what the topic - simply based on first glance data and facts derived from alexa and PR and your past $. I personally feel strongly that a blog OR website always should come from the bottom of your heart. a blog / site owner should be able to identify himself with the full content of his site. therefore a blogger or site owner who thinks about selling - if a high enough offers drops in - is like a man being married to a beautiful but being ready to divorce her if a more beautiful woman crosses his path of life ..... I have received repeated offers for my site and I would rather die or simply delete all than sell my site to an ecommerce/$ oriented business even if the offer would be billions £/$ !!! in addition the time is changing - the world is changing money feeds no people even if some ask simply for more money to pay the globally increasing food prices food feeds people and farmers create food hence the topic of the blog is totally off-topic of todays global crisis and problems.
Hi, Just wanna say that my average visits a day are normally around 5k-10k...but it's been dropping as I'm busy with my college life.
Well it looks like you have a decent site. but with that many visitor a day, how can you only make $320?
like i said...i didn't play adsense well and i dun intend to monetize much because when the money is converted to my country's currency etc. it will be 30% less anyway...
