Hello I've done a portfolio for a client and I am wondering how much to charge (how much people usually charge) I've spent, I reckon about 15hrs on it roughly and I've had to learn adobe after effects.. I've used about 20 layers, and a lot of the videos had to be stabilized with motion tracking because it was an amateur video recorder taking them. It's essentially a bunch of clips, cut - cropped, motion tracked and sorted out to fit within 3.30 min (to match the song). The client is having 6 DVD copies which I have done. I shall be uploading part of the video for you to see but I'd like to know roughly the prices. - I come from a designer background so I've not had to quote video editing before.
