couple thousand? hmmm... Remember, a site is only worth what someone is willing to pay. You have a good domain name which could be used for business ventures by somebody. So if the right person comes along to buy it then you could be looking at quite a bit. BUT I'm sure there are a lot of possibilities for domain names such as yours to be found so that could put the price down...
In my humble opinion, because it is a misspelling that does not have much direct type-in traffic, I don't see it going for much more than the registration fee at the wholesale level. Developing it could be problematic because people would actually type in the correct spelling of forecasting and get taken to another URL. Sorry.
I have to agree with LinkOrders above. If your domain was keyword rich (with the right spelling, i.e. forecastingstocks.com) it could be worth several thousand, or even more if you develop the site commercially and start driving a decent amount of traffic to it. Anything to do with financial services/trading is lucrative business, and you'd be able to easily find someone in the industry willing to cough up big bucks for a keyword-rich domain name such as the one I mentioned above. Since your domain above contains a misspelling, I highly doubt you'd find anyone willing to pay much more than the regular price of a new domain for it.
