Does anybody know how much the minimum bid amount is for bidding on Adwords. Also do they accept PayPal as a payment option to deposit money into Adwords.

I read in many other forums that they do accept payment using PayPal but they don't pay publishers their Adsense earnings using PayPal.

Is this comment true or not?

I've never heard a 'deposit' option.

What happens (with me) I get ads run for about a month, they bill me, and I pay. So you only pay after you received the services, no deposit.

So, you can't use PayPal as a payment method then?

I can't find no other way of doing it see. Can you pay them using Direct Debit or something?

You can use a credit card which is what I do, they direct debit it every month, if you don't have a credit card check out the site in my signature :D plenty of options there.

Can someone confirm that if you use a lot of long tail keywords that nobody is using in his ppc campaign that you will have a minimum bid of $0,05.
So this would make sence to use a lot of long tail keywords in your Adwords campaign right?

I think it depends on the keyword(s). Starting at .05 may affect your Quality Score though due to low CTR unless .05 gets you in the top 3 spots. Just watch your CTR and increase bids accordingly; else you'll find Adwords raising your 'minimum 1st page' bids for you.

You can't use PayPal as a source of payment. As for the minimum bid, you can go as low as 1 cent per keyword but good luck in getting that keyword on the first page.

Even at .01 what probably would occur is that Adwords would start setting the minimum 1st page bid to a significantly higher cost. Why? It's hardly worth Google's effort to show ads for a penny
