Someone has told me that everything you go on Chrome is tracked as stored, right down to your typing. Now I find it hard to believe. The amount of time it would take to do this to everyone, that sounds insane. I think they look for trigger words before they track that deep. Thoughts?
Wouldn't surprise me if Google tracked and stored everysing you type. But if they are doing it they are not telling.
Google tracks everywhere they can. Whether it be Chrome, loading an Adsense unit, maybe API calls for fonts, your house thermostat if you own Nest, Gmail communications, etc. are all data points for Google to build a more thorough profile of you as an individual. As I recall Google also has a patent for YouTube where a lot of people uploading video from a specific geographic location can trigger an alert to law enforcement.
Its true, Google does track everything you do on the internet even mozilla does also , both the browser has some cron installed on it, that provides every information you do online, only browser that does not have any cron is IE.
So, you want to know how much information does Google gather? All the information. About IE, I am sure it has no need to track anything, as Windows does it already.
