I was just wondering how much monthly income can give you a comfortable living in Canada specially

    1- Having house on lease
    2- A car
    3- Other general living expenses

Can someone please tell me how much monthly income would be OK to live a comfortable and nice life in Canada.

    Regards

Depends on a lot of things...size of house, kind of car and what you consider "general living expenses". I can't speak for all of Canada but here in the province of Quebec we call it the "land of the freeloaders". So many "Quebecois" just don't want to work so they sponge off the government and live a "free" life...and some live quite comfortably.

it depends where you live. where i live..

1- Having house on lease- renting an apartment- 2k a month. Buying a house- 675k + 14k taxes
    2- A car- 30k
3- Other general living expenses-not too sure

If you get an apartment (I dont know how much the lease would be since I dont know where and how big the house is) it would be around $800 a month. You can lease a car for under $100 a month plus insurance so $250 a month for a car. Utilities and gas- $500. You could live on $20,000 a year.

To be comfortable... $40,000 at least per year would be ideal.

If you live in a small town in usa you pay much less in rent compared to big cities like boston, ny.
Lets say you wanna live in boston:
    Rent: $1000
    Car: $650 lease+gas
    Food: $500
Others: $1000->up depends on what you do:)

    Here's for Toronto:

    1- Having house on lease - $2k/mo
    2- A car - $500/mo
    3- Other general living expenses - $500/mo

So you need about $3k / month to enjoy living here.

Oh and 13% tax on almost everything.
