How much impact does high PR links have

    Just wondering how much impact high PR links has on SERPS placement....Has anyone had any experience of getting a PR7 link and jumping pages in the SERPS?

    Yep...high pr links usually do directly help search engine rankings. I think there was a thread of some guy who attempted to do a test of seeing the effect of different PR links. I'm too lazy to go search for that thread though ;)

    They would definitely help, although they won't carry as much weight as a related link would.

    Of couse I have. PR is Google's own way of detemining authority. An irrelevant website will not be ranked high but will get indexed fast.

    If it is related to your niche, it will definitely boost your site ranking. :) But if not, then don't waste your time on such links that are irrelevant.
