I am interested to buy a tech blog which contains reviews about the gadgets etc. The blog gets about 200-300 unique visitors everyday with about 30-40 returning visitors and 300 to 400 page views everyday. The blog is about 1 year old. The earning is 0 because the guy hasnt put the ads yet. What would be the right price to offer? Thanks for suggestions.
You need to verify the stats, and you need to see what keywords those visits are coming from - make sure they are not "purchased" traffic - verify the site's rankings for yourself. If the traffic is legit, the minimum value of that traffic is about $0.40 / day (could be better, but without knowing your niche, that's about as high as I would estimate, and of course it could be lower if your website doesn't convert well, but it is a good starting point) That makes for $12/month. The valuation of a website is 3-12 months profit, which would be $36 to $144, but without proven profit, I wouldn't value it at over $72 unless the keywords were really good. You really need to do more research before you can make an appraisal of the potential profit for the site.
give me the sites name and i will do a full valuation report inc value of site, potential what it earns, approx number of visitors a day etc all for $2. I own my own tech site, and with around 60k views a month, i just about earn $4 a day with Adsense only. But then, private ads make me almost $500 a month
it all depends on the visitors? Which country do they belong to. If most of them are from United states you can make more than 50c per day for the worst case. Also what is the source of traffic, if its google(70 - 80%) then go ahead and buy the website.. 50 to 70$ is a okay price. If it has quality content then you can offer more price as well
If all your stats are real, most visitors are from search engines from relevent keywords, most visitors belong to america and europe and the content is unique, the blog has some backlinks indexed in google. I would have paid $200-$400 for it.
