I have one website running on 100% autopilot bringing me ~$40 daily ( mostly from adsense) with zero work needed to maintain it and the revenue can be like guaranteed to be like that stable for at least years to come... have to pay study fees in next 2months and I was woundering If I were to sell it How much I could get from it? Zero expenses and work to run it.. What you think?
It really depends on niche, if the income will stay stable... If I have to say a price, I would say $10k but I need to see much mire info ;-)
The previous two posters are probably about right, it tends to be about 6-12 months' earnings. Maybe more for a really strong niche. The one thing that really reduces the value is if it is a proxy site, as these can become almost worthless overnight if they get too well known, and hence blocked.
6-10 months revenue is a normal range for adsense sites; varies by niche. A good domain name, strong backlinks, memberlist and other monetization options could boost it up.
So,do the site have any PR? How old are the site? What is the average monthly earning? The most you can get from the site is 4x of your monthly earning if your site is at least 12 month old.
Ideally, you wouldn't need to sell the site at all. You could use the revenue stream from the site as collateral for (and to pay off) a bank loan, and just keep running it yourself. However, I suspect they won't. Might be worth approaching them, and see if you have an enlightened bank manager - such creature do exist! I guess the best start to the conversation might be "I have a part-time business..." rather than "I have a website..."
If I were you, I would not sell that site. It also depends on your site's age. I would say min is 6-8k
Nah dont sell it. Don't worry about your study, if you start work your going to hate it. Just work on growing the websites daily profit, because you said you make $40 on autopilot, imagine how much you could make if you worked on it!
