My directory PR has been raised up to PR3 from PR0 within 4 months. So can you tell me which pricing that you recommend for feature and regular links? ;)

    URL: www.w3look.com

    Thanks

Not much really to be honest. PR 4 is where it starts to count, but people want green on the page with their link.

You have over 50 links in your categories;

    http://www.w3look.com/shopping/jewelry/

that would make a link almost worthless. Try 10 - 20 a page IMHO

    Agreed with...... donttrustthisposter

These are i think fair prices for directories to charge monthly...Sitewides

PR3 sitewides for $10-$20 monthly and got few inners for PR

PR4 sitewides i think should be $20-$30 monthly with Good inner PR+3-4

PR5 sitewides i think should go for $25-$40 monthly..should have inners of atleast PR4 mains and some 3s

PR6 sitewides $30-$50+ monthly sitewides with good amount of PR5s for inners.

PR7 sitewides should go for $50-$100 market is wide open! monthly.

PR 8-9-10 ........ Doesnt matter what you ask someone will pay period!

This was just a ruff idea of MY thoughts.... and nothing more.
Just be fair and a good business man and you will sell anything!

Open for discussion......... so as to get everyone to be "Close" when they do pricing.

    thx

there is absolutely no way in hell i'll pay for a good majority of starting directories, based on that ideology.

it's busted when you take into account who promotes it and how it's promoted.

Agreed that every directory owner sets his pricing by his accomplishments.

I dont think that my pricing is that.......... far off.... from the standards or what some should charge.

I mean shit man you got some guys asking for $80 bucks for a link on a
site that is brand new..... which i could see asking before the PR updates, but after it does it should be set at a standard Price.

As can be seen above its between $this-$that Ultimatly you set the prices for your sites...

Also agree that i do look at WHO is the owner so i know hes not a fly by night chump.
BUT even the biggest NAMES took a Dump this time....

But even then,... you will have a directory owner or 2, who Got LUCKY!
and decides to give his links out for peanuts as his nations economy is not so well to do.

May i ask what you would charge?

    thx

You're absolutely right. It's retarded/insane what people are trying to pull these days.

*YOU* specifically, are a heavy promter. I know this first hand.
Those prices you've privided based on 'your' idea of what you would charge is fine with me.

And yes, those people charging $80 are retarded/insane. It isn't until I see promotion and honesty(none of this spamming bullshit) in a directory that I will even consider it.

I don't care what MOD is in it. I don't care what PR it is. I want to see stats. I'm not a PR freak. I'm a stats freak. I want traffic and I want to drive traffic.

Also, with regards to the owner, I want to be able to interact with the owner, to get a feel and understanding for them.
Some of these newbz are really nice(take tim_allard for example) great guy, positive outlook, easy to speak with, and is very appreciative individual.
Has a great outlook and ambition. How do I know this? well, as mentioned above, I spoke with him. Just simple convo to say hi and welcome and it turned into great conversation/chat. It's just as easy as that.

Nice post. I a mbookmarking this.

But these numbers look much more than normal websites' rates? Is this normal? Is this because of its sitewide nature?

    hello....

Yes casper... thats what I Would Charge someone for sitewides on my sites..
thats why we went into the subject of inner PR for them,as it make no sence to me to pay for just 1 link on any site that cant give me what im looking for....but again to each his own!

In my eyes these prices are fair and just for the return you will recieve.

    thx
