I got a pretty simple job to do, may take around 9 hours. Whats a fair $/hour? Thanks. (sorry posted this in the html forum by accident)
Depends on the designers experience etc On DP I'd say $10 per hour would seem about the norm, but it'll probably be a 15 year old kid at the other end with a cracked version of Photoshop claiming to be a professional graphic designer Personally I'm ~$80 an hour (not sure on the current exchange rate from the UK), however you'll find that more experienced people tend to work faster, and hence it could save you money in the long run depending on the job.
hello sir ican do ur project if you mind can you send more details plse 8 USD per Hour Thanks pirathees
hi I m sumudu.. I would like to do your job .... my mail add is .. . please tell me the description about your work then i will let you know the Price. thanks & best regards Sumudu
It depends on the designer(s). If you get someone overseas, they'll usually charge you much less, but will also (in most cases) provide much lower-quality work or use templates. The usual ballpark figure of a good designer is around 20$ to 30$ an hour, but can greatly vary.
Not sure why so many are requesting to do the work for him. His post seems to clearly point out that HE is doing the job & just curious what he should charge his client. The fact that the question is being asked shows newness to the profession, therefore a lower rate would apply, say between $7.00 - $9.00.. Once more experience is gained you can then Gage your skill sets along with time & move up the hourly ladder of pay. You don't want to over charge if you're new, you'll only upset the new client when they evaluate the level of skill to the level of pay & you'll lose all future repeat/referral business from them, they might even speak badly about you to others. I suggest taking it slow fresh out of the design gate & charge fair in equivalence to skill. if it helps, you can also explain to your client what the normal rates are, what your rate is, & that your rate is that low to aid in more hands on experience & building your portfolio. People like honesty & will remain with you for it, if you lie & they find out (Which eventually they will), you lose them & everyone else they are in contact with. At any rate, just my 2 cents, good luck to you
buy an artistic friend a copy of photoshop for xmas, and ask them a few favours my ex is a really good friend and she does some absolutely KILLER grahpics for free if i need any, just cos i got her back if anything ever happens. Friends mean alot, so try and establish some good contacts, whether personal or business. Trust me, they're worth their weight in gold!
