Decided to download my complete paypal log today because I was looking for a transaction. Well I put the log into excel and did some quick math and Ive seen that all my fees have added up to $1,931.27 so far. Really doesnt seem like they take a bunch but it all adds up. :)

Ya mine was from 3-4 years. So I guess it isnt too bad. But the big companies must sink a ton into paypal.

They probably include PayPal fees into their prices.

They've "made" money from most who receive payment but they still only get a fraction of the fees. I know I've made a lot more then the fees that I've paid.

You only have one paypal account?
I've managed to avoid some fees by using a personal account and a premier one.

I only accept credit card payments if i really have too. :)

Ya I just have a premier account. How can I avoid fees with more than one? Most of the people that pay me are paypal to paypal transfers.

Does a business account charge more fees than a premier account?
I might be opening a Personal Account too, as I heard that incoming payments don't require you to pay a fee on them.

Dude if that is so than you are wasting lots of money...

If you have a Personal account they don't take ANY fees in receiving money from your clients own paypal funds.
If you clients have to use their credit card associated with paypal then yes, you will pay fees to receive the money.
