I'm not looking to buy a site yet, just want to ask a few questions. How much on average would you charge to make me a fully functional, good looking website. It would be a kind of article directory, where people would need to pay to submit an article. I'm just looking at the moment & interested in a basic price? Feel free to PM me if you'd prefer. Cheers
Are the articles on the site unique? Or they are copied articles. If they are copied articles, you can find them on Ebay (they sell 2500 articles for like $10). There are many things to ask, know before you determine the price for that site: if the domain is nice and valuable, and how many visitors/day, money earned/day for that site?, .... I don't think the paid to post articles will work, only if they get somethings back like a valuable backlink to their site, or they will just post copied articles ... You may need to hire people to write articles for you, $5/ each article (See DP "For Hire" section)
Sorry, my question was very unclear re-reading. I'm wanting to know about how much you would charge to design it for me & make it, I understand your point about it not working, this is only the basics & I don't want to give much away! So just looking for a basic quote, obviously not a full quote, just so I have an idea of how much a DP person would charge. Cheers
your better off asking in the programming section, i can design a site for you for quite cheap and so can alot of other designers here in dp then you would need someone else to code it for you.
