I'm planning to start some serious link buying/selling and was wondering .. how much should I expect to pay for a permanent sitewide PR 5 and/or PR 6 link on a blog? Just for example, would US $30 - 60 be too much or too little? How much would you pay such a link? Any thoughts would be appreciated... thanks!
It completely depends on Niche, Traffic, Quality of blog, neighbourhood, backlinks, quality of backlinks. There are simple too many factors to give you a price estimate right here.
exactly... --------------- it would help us to know your niche or even better the exact blog your looking at for this to give you an accurate number. also the # you quoted... is that /month?
My suggestion is: use Search Tool here on DP filtering with thread: "link sales", and keywords: "blog" + you niche keywords Probably you'll see several offers to get an idea.
Some of you guys asked for details... so here they are: Niche = web design Alexa rank = around 24000 Age of Domain = around 1 year PageRank = 5 Definitely 100% not in a bad neighbourhood Number of other links where my link will be placed next to: 8 BACKLINKS yahoo - 1250 MSN - 3120 Google - 125 Note that this will be a permanent/lifetime link and we are in the same niche. How much would you be willing to pay?
There is no set prices, people value advertising space on their site more than others, I've found an PR7 home page link (15 outgoing links) for $35 (sitewide) and a PR6 (sitewide -20 outgoing links) for $5/month. Keep searching to find the best opportunities...
Yes some sites sell the links for a very low rate and some sell it higher and those you sell it higher will have less outgoing links It depends upon your choice
I absolutely understand that there's not a set price for links. It's pretty much common sense. Just wanted to ask get a general feel of how much I should pay for a link like this. I am going to make an offer to some webmasters and wanted my pricing to be somewhat competitive and adequate. Oh well, thanks anyway to everyone who replied.
My suggestion would be to watch the link sales and see what they are going for. After you feel you have enough knowledge to grab a bargain, grab them when you see them
