How much for a PR7 backlink website..

I have a PR3 directory website ... waiting for next PR update.

And I have among other other backlinks .... a sitewide backlink from a major PR7 website including the main page which is a PR7 page. That site is a very popular website and will keep gaining traffic with time. I am not related to the PR7 website but have the backlink because we have similar domain names.. so we direct each others traffic to the site user is looking for.

I am not selling the site here.

I would like to know from all you knowledgeable friends.. how much do you think I can expect for such a website ?

And is it wise to sell it now or wait for the PR update.. and maybe sell the site then or sell links ?

Please let me know your thoughts.

    thanks a lot.

I'd say it bumps the value only $50 or so. Considering that anyone can buy a PR7 link for relatively small money, it's not that big a deal. Plus if the link is not paid then there are no guarantees that it will stick.

Wait for the PR update, sell links for a couple of months and THEN sell the site.

I think you should wait for the PR update and get some revenue flowing and then sell it if you want to at that point.

It depends on how many other outgoing links are on the PR7 pages.

Ultimately all that matters is *your* site's PR and traffic.

(We don't want another misleading "site with a backlink to a pr9 site" thread where the actual link is a lowly pr4 on a low traffic page)

I have to agree, until the PR update has gone through and your sitting on a PR6 site, it doesnt help heaps.
